关心行为, HEERF II, and HEERF III

3月27日, 2020, the Coronavirus 援助, 救援, and Economic Security Act (关心行为) was signed into law. The Higher Education Emergency 救援 Fund III (HEERF III), authorized by the American Rescue Plan (ARP), Public Law 117-2, was signed into law on March 11, 2021.

Please note that as of March 29, 2022, 所有援助都已花完，目前不接受进一步的申请. When funding is again available, 学生可以通过填写关怀法案HEERF II提交申请, and HEERF III (Student Emergency Grants) Application at any time.

Funds previously available through The Coronavirus 援助, 救援, 以及3月27日签署的《利记网址》(简称《利记网址》), 2020年-以及《利记网址》授权的高等教育紧急救济基金II (HEERF II), 2021 (CRRSAA), Public Law 116-260, signed into law on December 27, 2020 – has been disbursed to Beacon students.

ARP向符合条件的学生提供直接分配的应急资金，使他们能够应对与COVID-19大流行相关的费用. These may include unexpected expenses like food, 住房, course materials, 技术, 卫生保健, transportation, and 移动/存储 needs.  利记要求学生提交这份简短的表格，解释他们是如何受到疫情的经济影响的, and what their corresponding associated costs are.

As we anticipate the emergency grants process to be competitive, 我们强烈建议学生尽快提交此表格.  While we will review all applications received, awarded amounts may vary based on unique student circumstances, student/family needs, and while funds remain available.  我们不能保证所有申请人都能获得紧急补助金或已授予的金额.  委员会将继续接受和审查申请和请求，直到资金用完为止. 学生将在收到申请后不迟于30天(大多数预计在1-2周内)收到奖学金资格和金额的通知，并将每周邮寄支票付款.

Related COVID-19 emergencies may include (but are not limited to):

  • 与校园宿舍和食堂关闭相关的意外住房和食品费用;

  • Healthcare-related expenses as related to the pandemic,
  • Unanticipated travel, 移动, 存储, and other miscellaneous costs incurred by students and families.

The college has received $582,246 since its DOE Certificate & Agreement was submitted. The total amount available to eligible students is $202,715 under the Higher Education Emergency 救援 Fund II (HEERF II). 估计有资格在2022财年第二季度获得紧急财政援助助学金的学生人数为442人. 截至2021年7月1日，已向48名学生发放了202,715美元的全额款项. 给n HEERF II resources have been expended and given U.S. 教育部指示，这是利记这些资金的最后也是最后的报告.
